This tracks not only down well beeing but also has influence on health.<\/p>\n<p>There are different types of artificial teeth. If all teeth are missing dentures are the solution. This kind of prosthesis only sticks in place with adhesive forces between mouth tissue, saliva and prostesis. Unfortunately bone and gingiva change with the time and the base of the prosthesis has to be relined from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>With implants dentures can be hold in place much better. These implants are a kind of metal anchors which are screwed in the jaw bone usually under local anaesthetics. With the help of attachments the prostheses can be fixed on the implants. There are several types of fixation attachments. Small snaps or bars are commonly used. All have in common, that a small plastic or metal part gets pressed over a metal part. This is more or less manageable and leads to wear.<\/p>\n<p>Another option for prostheses fixation are magnets. One magne is fixed on the implant and another in the prosthesis. The attrction between the two magnets pulls the prostesis into place. Insertion and removing is very easy and the magnets are easy to clean because they have no undercuts.<\/p>\n<p>Magnetic dentures are easy in handling. f\u00fcr die Betroffenen drastische Folgen im gesamten Leben und im sozialen Umfeld. Wenn die chirurgische Prothetik an Ihre Grenzen st\u00f6\u00dft, k\u00f6nnen mit Hilfe abnehmbarer Prothesen (Epithesen) verlorengegangen Teile des Gesichtes ersetzt werden.<\/p>\n<p>In kunstvoller Handarbeit erschaffen Epithetiker individuelle Prothesen, die sich m\u00f6glichst unauff\u00e4llig in das Gesicht einpassen. Aus hygienischen Gr\u00fcnden werden Epithesen abnehmbar gestaltet. Befestigt werden Epithesen \u00fcber Miniimplantate oder auch mit Klebern bzw. \u00fcber Brillen .<\/p>\n<p>In die Implantate werden Druckkn\u00f6pfe, Stege oder Magnete eingeschraubt.
