Titanmagnetics® are very easy to use for patients, doctors and staff. Due to the titanium housing the magnets are corrosion proof. Only magnets make the dentures slide in position autonomously. Compared to bars, cones, balls or locators the patient does not need to find the right position or has to chew in the dentures.

Patients with diseases like rheumatism, gout or stroke patients have problems with overcoming the friction of locator, ball or bar attachments. Titanmagnetics® are self aligning and much easier to clean not only for the patient but also for nursing staff.
Bars, locators or ball attachments have surfaces with untercuts, holes or notches where plaque or food remains can deposit. The polished surfaces of Titanmagnetics® are much easier to clean.

Titanmagnetics® system consists of a one piece magnetic implant abutment (insert) which is screwed into the implant on one side and a denture magnet which is glued or polymerized in the prosthesis on the other side.
Titanmagnetics® are the only magnetic retention system using two active magnets (bi-magnetic). The open (no yoke) magnetic field allows a longer distance attraction than systems using only one magnet and a passive magnetic alloy.
We use SamariumCobalt magnets, because those are more heat resistant than neodymium magnets and resist sterilisation in an autoclave. our magnets are corrosion proof welded in a titanium housing.

Titanmagnetics® are available for several implant systems in different product lines (shape and strength) and different heights.
Thread and shoulder are adapted to the implant, the magnetic head has the form of the certain product line (X-Line, K-Line, Z-Line).
Depending on the implant system the product lines are offered in different heights.
Titanmagnetics® are one piece abutments. No additional screw is needed.
The magnetic abutments are srewed in the implant with the help of a torque wrench adapter which transfers the torque (20 Ncm) over small flats on the surface of the magnetic head.
The torque wrench adapters carry an own magnet for a secure handling in the mouth. There are different torque wrench adapters for each product line because the magnetic heads differ in diameter. The torque wrench adapters are available with connections for different wrenches or torque controlled handpieces.
Titanmagnetics® are available in different product lines which differ in form and strength for the different requirements on attraction, lateral stability and guidance. Conical magnets (K-Line) provide more lateral stability, spheric magnets allow high divergent or convergent implants.
The Titanmagnetics® X-Line has the patented flat and slightly rounded surface which enhances self aligning. The attraction force is 1.6 N (ca. 160 g). The head diameter is 4.8 mm. The denture magnete has a height of 2.65 mm. To span different tissue levels over the implant collar the magnets are available in different heights. The Titanmagnetics® X-Line is independend of any insertion direction because it shown no lateral guidance, so it is advantageous to be used on divergent or convergent implants.

The StecoTitanmagnetics Z-Line has the same flat surface like the X-Line but is much stronger ( 3.0 N, ca. 300g) and bigger (diameter 5.8 mm).
The Titanmagnetics® K-Line looks like a small 10° cone attachment. It is not metal frictive but magnetics attractive. The K-Line has 1.6 N attraction force and a head diameter of 5.2 mm. The denture magnet (5 mm height) overlaps the cone and provides lateral stability especially on strong atrophied jaws.
The implant abutments (inserts) are usually available in different tissue heights.

Titanmagnetics® can be used on casted root post caps as well.
The magnet is just glued into a casted root cap with a mouth resistand attachment glue. The gluing surface is sandblasted and the functional surface is polished. The denture magnet is glued or polymerized into the dentures.
For easy processing castable plastic modellation sleeves can be parellelized with a guide.

We offer a Titanmagnetics® denture magnet with plane contact surface for flat casted magnetic root caps (Dyna) as well.
Titanmagnetics® can be used for coupling segmented obturators or multi-part prostheses. So obturators for larger defects can be produced with several parts for easier handling. Coupled hollow obturators can be used to build less weight constructions.
For coupling obturators our StecoTitanmagnetics of X-Line and Z-Line for root caps can be used. For silicone prostheses the components are available with additional retention ring.
Especially for coupled nasal septum epitheses the Titanmagnetics W-Line can be used. It is lower as the Z-Line with a larger force in the distance.
extra oral use
All Titanmagnetics® product lines can be used on special extra oral implant fixtures. The T-Line is especially indicated for facial prostheses (no oral application allowed).
the telescopic arrangement of the magnets allows auricular epitheses to lift controlled under chewing muscular movement.

Epitheses usually are removalbely attached prostheses. Beside glue or glases mainly small implants are used for fixation. Implant retained epitheses can be fixed on bars, Ball attachments or magnets. Titanmagnetics® are advantageous because of their hygienic surfaces and stressless connection to the implants. Especially the self aligning application allows an easy handling for the patient.
Titanmagnetics® are available for most common extra oral implant fixtures in different heights, forms and strengths.
Titanmagnetics® system offers special components for facial prosthetics.
Prostheses magnets af all Titanmagnetics product lines are available with additional silicone retention ring beside the version with sand blasted surface for acrylic prostheses.
The prostheses magnets of X-Line and Z-Line are offered with an additional collar for providing more lateral stability.
For easier impression in limited spaces (orbita) an special impression post with shorter collar is offered.
